Benson has gone 6-0 against San Miguel recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Benson Bobcats will head out to square off against the San Miguel Vipers at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

It was a proper cat-fight when Benson duked it out withMorenci on Tuesday. Benson took a 45-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Morenci. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, San Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 34th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 73-15 loss at the hands of Willcox. While losing is never fun, the Vipers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Cowboys are ranked 117th).

Benson's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-10. As for San Miguel, their loss dropped their record down to 0-20.

Everything came up roses for Benson against San Miguel when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the squad secured an 80-5 victory. Does Benson have another victory up their sleeve, or will San Miguel turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
