There's no place like home for Yuba City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Yreka Miners with a sharp 8-2 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Honkers, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Ashton Decker, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Eliaja Moncher, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI.

Yuba City was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Yreka only posted a batting average of .240.
