Softball Game Preview: Ozark Hillbillies vs. Pottsville Apaches

For the second straight game, Ozark will face off against Pottsville. The Hillbillies will welcome the Apaches at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Monday just wasn't the day for Ozark's offense. They came up short against Pottsville on Monday, falling 8-0. The Hillbillies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Pottsville's part, the team relied heavily on Jessica Atkins, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavreen Sarai, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

The victory (which was Pottsville's sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ozark, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
