Basketball Recap: Morgan County Comes Up Short

Morgan County was the 84-70 winner over Raceland when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Morgan County Cougars took a 72-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raceland Rams on Saturday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morgan County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Raceland, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Morgan County Cougars challenge the Lewis County Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lewis County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Raceland, they will head out on the road to challenge East Carter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Carter has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 179 points over their last three games.
