Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Lafayette County

Lafayette County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Lone Jack Mules with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Huskers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

While Lafayette County might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lone Jack scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-19.

Sophie Frank paced Lafayette County's offense, picking up 15 kills. Frank got some help from Katie Draisey and her 27 assists. Alex Erdman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lafayette County's win bumped their record up to 23-6-2. As for Lone Jack, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10-4.

As of now, neither Lafayette County nor the Mules have any future games scheduled.
