Football Recap: Bluffton Pirates vs. Western Reserve Roughriders
Bluffton and Western Reserve squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Bluffton had to settle for second. They fell 36-31 to the Roughriders. The Pirates have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.
Bluffton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tayte Giesige, who threw for 123 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards. Robby Taylor made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
