Baseball Recap: Minster Comes Up Short

Minster entered their matchup against St. Henry on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wildcats lost 13-2 to the Redskins. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Minster's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for St. Henry, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minster will venture away from home to challenge Arcanum at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for St. Henry, they will square off against Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
