Volleyball Recap: Hughesville's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After losing to Midd-West the last time they met, Hughesville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Spartans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Hughesville walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 18-25, 25-11, 25-21.

Hughesville's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Midd-West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hughesville will square off against rival Danville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Midd-West is set to face off against their familiar foe Lewisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
