Rockwood Summit waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Mehlville Panthers by a score of 3-1. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Rockwood Summit had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-14, 25-15, 25-10.

Rockwood Summit's victory bumped their record up to 27-8-1. As for Mehlville, they dropped their record down to 7-17-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Rockwood Summit wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Lindbergh on the 20th. Mehlville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
