Volleyball Recap: Army-Navy Wins Going Away Against Cristo Rey

The Army-Navy Warriors made easy work of Cristo Rey on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Army-Navy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Cristo Rey to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-10.

Army-Navy found their leader in freshman Sean Germani, who had 26 digs and two assists.

The victory got Army-Navy back to even at 2-2. As for Cristo Rey, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Army-Navy and Cristo Rey will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Army-Navy is set to take on their familiar foe Del Lago Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cristo Rey will challenge rival Bostonia Global at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
