Volleyball Recap: Belton-Honea Path Bears vs. West-Oak Warriors
Belton-Honea Path was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the West-Oak Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 25-18.
Norah Burgess was a one-woman wrecking crew For West-Oak. as she had 19 digs and two assists. Burgess has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 13 times she's played.
Belton-Honea Path's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for West-Oak, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
