A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers faces off against the Paetow Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Katy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Katy finally turned things around against Jordan on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Warriors 3-2.

Katy found their leader in underclassman Ashlyn Dodd, who had ten digs and three aces. Dodd is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in the last seven games she's played.

Katy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Paetow came up short against Seven Lakes on Friday and fell 3-1. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 24-26, 25-14.

Katy's victory bumped their record up to 19-20. As for Paetow, their loss dropped their record down to 13-24.

Katy took their win against Paetow in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Katy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
