Basketball Recap: Venice Comes Up Short

Venice lost against Booker back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Venice Indians took a 63-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Booker Tornadoes. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Venice's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Booker, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Venice will challenge Riverview Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Booker, they will face off against Port Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Booker has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 198 points over their last three matches.
