Football Game Preview: Mariposa County Grizzlies vs. Delhi Hawks + How To Watch

The Mariposa County Grizzlies will head out on the road to square off against the Delhi Hawks at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mariposa County has seven straight victories, Delhi has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Mariposa County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Modesto Christian to the tune of 52-18 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won three matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Austin Battles and Rusty Bull were among the main playmakers for Mariposa County as the former rushed for 39 yards and two TDs and the latter rushed for 90 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Delhi's offense. They were beaten by Stone Ridge Christian 42-0 on Friday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Mariposa County's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Delhi, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Mariposa County came up short against Delhi in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 10-0. Can the Grizzlies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
