Football Recap: Brady Jones Key Part of Team Effort in Panthers Win + How To Watch

Penn Cambria lost to Bald Eagle Area back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 47-24 margin over the Eagles. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Eagles are ranked 211th).

Penn Cambria's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brady Jones, who threw for 207 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 38 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That's the most passing yards Jones has posted since back in August of 2024. Blake Lilly was Jones' top target, picking up 131 receiving yards and two scores, while also rushing for 56 yards.

Bald Eagle Area lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kaleb Irion, who threw for 243 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. Nick McCulley helped Irion out on the ground, rushing for 117 yards.

Penn Cambria has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 31.5 points thus far. As for Bald Eagle Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
