Basketball Recap: Victoria West Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Victoria West, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past the Victoria East Titans 59-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since December 27, 2023.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kamryn Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Kymorie Clark was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Victoria West pushed their record up to 15-9 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Victoria East, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-13.

Coincidentally, Victoria West and Victoria East will both be playing Terry the next time they take the court. Victoria East will host Terry at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Victoria West will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
