Softball Recap: Incarnate Word Shamrocks vs. Antonian Prep Apaches

Incarnate Word fell victim to Antonian Prep and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 17-0 walloping at the hands of the Antonian Prep Apaches. Incarnate Word has not had much luck with Antonian Prep recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

For Antonian Prep's part, Esther Martinez made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Martinez was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
