Basketball Recap: Spring Grove's Loss Ends 12-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Fillmore Central last Thursday, Spring Grove came back down to earth. The Spring Grove Lions took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Schaeffer Academy Lions. The loss was Spring Grove's first of the season.

Spring Grove's defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1. As for Schaeffer Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Spring Grove will head out on the road to take on Kingsland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Kingsland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Schaeffer Academy, they will face off against Houston at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
