Game recap: North Allegheny High School Football Team takes down Bethel Park

WEXFORD, Pa. - North Allegheny (Wexford, Pa.) extended its winning streak to 11 games with a 42-14 victory over Bethel Park (Pa.) on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Mack Leftwich touchdown pass to Brendan Coniker in the first quarter, the Tigers led 28-0 at the half.

North Allegheny expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. NA scored once in the quarter on a Leftwich touchdown pass to Gregg Garrity.

Leftwich was the top performer for the Wexford school. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.

Connor Wilson made a difference for the Black Hawks. The senior ran for one touchdown.



Bethel Park came in giving up 17.6 points per game this season. BP struggled against the Tigers' offense, which entered the game scoring 39.7 points per game. North Allegheny had given up an average of 5.1 points prior to the contest.

The loss snapped the Black Hawks' 2-game winning streak.
