Gig Harbor waltzed into their match on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Capital Cougars, sneaking past 7-5. Seven seems to be a good number for the Tides as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Gig Harbor's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-1. As for Capital, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-7 record this season.
