The third road match was the charm for the Northside Christian School Eagles, as they earned their first road win of the season. They took down Grace Christian 43-25 on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Northside Christian School, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Northside Christian School's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Wilson, who scored 16 points. The game was Wilson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Padgett, who scored 15 points.
Northside Christian School's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Grace Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside Christian School will take on Harvest Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Grace Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lake Pointe Academy at 7:15 p.m. on January 22nd.
