Softball Recap: Marion County Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

With a playoff win on the line, Marion County rose to the challenge on Monday. They never let the Hubbertville Lions get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Surprisingly, this marked the Red Raiders' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Marion County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season. As for Hubbertville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-13 record.

Marion County has already played their next matchup, a 13-0 loss against Berry on the 28th. As for Hubbertville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-4 defeat against Brilliant on the 28th.
