Basketball Recap: Lake Havasu Takes a Loss

Lake Havasu lost against Centennial back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lake Havasu Knights were outmatched by the Centennial Coyotes and fell 73-36. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Coyotes are ranked 93rd).

When it comes to explaining why Lake Havasu lost, don't look at Brenan Moore. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-11 en route to 15 points and seven rebounds.

Lake Havasu has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Centennial, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-15.

As of now, neither Lake Havasu nor Centennial have any future games scheduled.
