Basketball Recap: Oriskany's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday

Oriskany won the last time they faced Westmoreland and things went their way on Friday too. The Oriskany Redskins walked away with a 63-51 win over the Westmoreland Bulldogs. Given the Redskins' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 747th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oriskany is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game.
