Softball Recap: Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers vs. Columbia Central Lions

Warren County lost against Columbia Central back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers fell just short of the Columbia Central Lions by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for Warren County in their matchups with Columbia Central: they've now lost three in a row.

Addison Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.

On Columbia Central's side, Bailey Lovell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on one hit and racked up eight Ks.
