Volleyball Recap: Lely Comes Up Short

Lely lost against Aubrey Rogers on September 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lely was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-22.

Lely's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Aubrey Rogers, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7.

Coincidentally, Lely and Aubrey Rogers will both be playing Community School of Naples the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Seahawks at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
