 Fairview extended their postseason success on Friday against Harbor Creek. They blew past the Harbor Creek Huskies 11-4. Fairview's victory was all the more impressive since Harbor Creek was averaging only 3.45 runs allowed on the season.
  Tyler Benford made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Benford was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Luke Rzodkiewicz and  Andrew Stevens did most of the damage at the plate:  Rzodkiewicz  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4, while  Stevens  scored two  runs while going 1-for-4.  Austin Hawley was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 On Harbor Creek's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jake Rzodkiewicz, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI.
 The  win was  the fourth in a row for Fairview, bringing their record for this year to 15-3. As for Harbor Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
 Fairview is on the road again  on Monday to play Mercyhurst Prep at 2:30  p.m. Both teams will come into the  game having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes. Harbor Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
