Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Utrecht Utes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Railsplitters of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for New Utrecht, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will welcome Lafayette at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, New Utrecht and Grady will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
