Slade Hudson turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Monday. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Cascade is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 2-3 otherwise.

Even though Hudson couldn't lead Cascade over North Marion, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
