Volleyball Recap: Clinton-Massie Comes Up Short

If Clinton-Massie was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Whiteoak on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons came up short against the Franklin Wildcats on Monday, falling 3-0. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Clinton-Massie's offense was headlined by Brooklynn Beckett and Lila Theetge, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Annalyse George and her 17 assists. Theetge was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Clinton-Massie's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Franklin, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-8.

Clinton-Massie has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Tournament Opponent on the 14th. As for Franklin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Carroll on the 14th.
