Christian Brothers Academy hit Marcellus with a seven-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs fell 11-8 to the Brothers. Even though they lost, the Mustangs' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Gavin Foy made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Chris Loveless was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Marcellus and nudges their season record down to 2-4-1. As for Christian Brothers Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Marcellus will take on Skaneateles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they will head out to challenge Homer at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
