Basketball Recap: Perry Central Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Perry Central can now relate to. They were dealt a 67-22 loss at the hands of the Kemper County Wildcats on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Wildcats are ranked 69th).

Perry Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-19 record this season. As for Kemper County, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 22-6.

As of now, neither Perry Central nor Kemper County have any future games scheduled.
