Recap: Brook Hill Guard vs. Tyler HEAT
It was a good run, but the Brook Hill Guard unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 69-61 to Tyler HEAT. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brook Hill in their matchups with Tyler HEAT: they've now lost seven in a row.
Several Guard players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Remy Tonroy, who scored 12 points along with 8 assists and 5 steals. The match was Tonroy's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brenna Hill, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Brook Hill's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 11-5. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 54 points. As for Tyler HEAT, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.
Brook Hill will head out on the road to face off against Palestine at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Tyler HEAT will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on December 11th.
