Gisel Santos was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was Alana Olivas, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Chula Vista Learning Community Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Morse, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

Chula Vista Learning Community Charter has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 loss against Chula Vista on the 10th. As for Morse, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-2 victory against Sweetwater on the 11th.
