Baseball Recap: Jordan-Matthews Takes a Loss

Jordan-Matthews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 8-1 to the Southeast Alamance Stallions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Tuesday.

Jordan-Matthews' defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Southeast Alamance, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jordan-Matthews and Southeast Alamance will both be playing Bartlett Yancey the next time they take the field. The Stallions will head out to face the Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Jets will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th.
