It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Grayson County had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Craig County Rockets an 18-0 shutout. Considering the Blue Devils have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Grayson County is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Craig County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
