Despite the loss, John F. Kennedy Catholic got top-tier performance from Nick Ryan, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 14 boards. Ryan has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 31 times he's played. Christian Swogger also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Meanwhile, Gilmour Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 54-44 victory over the Bees.

Gilmour Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. As for John F. Kennedy Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

John F. Kennedy Catholic couldn't quite finish off Gilmour Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 and fell 64-61. Can John F. Kennedy Catholic avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
