Notre Dame Academy waltzed into their match on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Assabet Valley RVT Aztecs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Rebels have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Aztecs, too.

Notre Dame Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-19.

Phoebe Doyle paced Notre Dame Academy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Doyle got some help from Dana Howling Wolf Keller and her 14 assists. Howling Wolf Keller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Notre Dame Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Assabet Valley RVT, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Notre Dame Academy will square off against rival Southbridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Assabet Valley RVT is set to take on their familiar foe South at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
