Volleyball Recap: West Stokes Wildcats vs. Surry Central Golden Eagles

West Stokes lost against Surry Central back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles.

While West Stokes ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-27, 25-18, 25-22.

Leading Surry Central to victory were Kenzie Hooker and Stella Wall. Hooker had 14 digs and two aces, while Wall had 18 digs and two aces. What's more, Hooker racked up 37 assists, the most she's had since back in August. Another player making a difference was Bryleigh Jones, who had 11 kills and six digs.
