Softball Recap: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Grant Generals
Roosevelt proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Grant Generals 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Roughriders have posted since May 1, 2024.
The team relied heavily on Annabella Murphy, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Zulaykha Armstrachan was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
