Softball Recap: Washington County Takes a Loss

Washington County lost to Blacksher back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Washington County came up short against Blacksher, falling 17-2.

Washington County's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Blacksher, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington County will welcome Clarke County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarke County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.4 runs per game on average), something Washington County will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Blacksher, they will be playing at home against Jay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
