Basketball Recap: Trinity Bulldogs vs. Randleman Tigers
Trinity lost against Randleman back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trinity Bulldogs came up short against the Randleman Tigers, falling 56-33. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Tigers are ranked 123rd).
Madison Hill and Ava Nance certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Hill went 7 for 17 on her way to 17 points, while Nance posted eight points.
Gracie Beane continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Randleman, going 5 of 7 en route to 14 points and four blocks. Beane is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Jacquline McDaniel was another key player, going 5 for 10 on her way to 10 points and five assists.
Trinity has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Randleman, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.
Trinity has already played their next game, a 34-26 defeat against Wheatmore on the 28th. As for Randleman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-28 win against Eastern Randolph on the 28th.
