Basketball Recap: Downsville Comes Up Short

Downsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Haynesville Golden Tornado and fell 92-18. While losing is never fun, the Demons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 386th, while the Golden Tornado are ranked 76th).

Downsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Haynesville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Downsville will take on LaSalle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Downsville is facing LaSalle at the right time seeing as LaSalle is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Haynesville, they will venture away from home to face off against Bossier at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
