Americas barely beat Horizon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trail Blazers never let the Scorpions get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Monday. Considering the Trail Blazers have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Americas' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Horizon, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

Americas will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Scorpions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
