Basketball Game Preview: Argyle Orioles vs. Fall River Pirates

The Argyle Orioles will head out on the road to face off against the Fall River Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Argyle turned things around against Monticello on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 61-29 victory over the Ponies.

Fall River not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 3rd (when they won 63-39). They put the hurt on Albany with a sharp 64-41 win.

Fall River's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Argyle, their win bumped their record up to 11-14.

Argyle couldn't quite get it done against Fall River in their previous matchup back in February of 2019 as they fell 57-44. Can the Orioles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
