Basketball Recap: Scotus Takes a Loss

After flying high against Aquinas last Thursday, Scotus came back down to earth. The Scotus Shamrocks fell just short of the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers by a score of 60-57 on Friday. The Shamrocks haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Scotus' loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Bishop Neumann, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Coming up, Scotus won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kearney Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kearney Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season. As for Bishop Neumann, they will welcome Yutan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
