Softball Recap: Owatonna Has No Trouble Against Red Wing

Owatonna never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Red Wing Wingers 10-0. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Owatonna is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Red Wing, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Owatonna is set to square off against their familiar foe Century at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Red Wing will challenge rival Winona at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
