Softball Recap: Lake Center Christian Takes a Loss

Lake Center Christian lost against Rootstown back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tiger lost 15-1 to the Rovers. The Tiger have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Center Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cammi Stoltzfus, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Lake Center Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Rootstown, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Lake Center Christian will take on Aquinas at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tiger are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Rootstown, they will square off against Mogadore at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rovers surely won't give up without a fight.
