Volleyball Recap: Ruidoso Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ruidoso can now relate to. They fell just short of the Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Madison 'Madi' Lutterman paced Ruidoso's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lutterman got some help from Talyn Ramos and her 25 assists. Finally, Lutterman was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Ruidoso's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Santa Fe Prep, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

Ruidoso does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Santa Fe Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Santa Fe Indian on the 14th.
