Jay came tearing into Friday's match with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the MacArthur Brahmas 93-34. With the Mustangs ahead 58-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

It was another big night for Jaiden Guillen, who went 7 of 13 from beyond the arc on his way to 46 points. Those 46 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarrius Jackson Jr, who went 5 for 7 en route to 12 points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds.

Jay was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as MacArthur only racked up seven assists.

Despite the defeat, MacArthur had strong showings from Cash Slaughter, who posted 13 points and three steals, and Darryl Copeland, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 12 points.

Jay pushed their record up to 26-2 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home. As for MacArthur, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

Jay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 80-60 win against Harlandale on the 28th. As for MacArthur, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-52 victory against Southside on the 28th.
